The last few weeks have been about one thing: turning RaceMob from a race discovery engine into a real platform. We shipped well over eleven updates across three weeks, and they all point in the same direction - creating a true platform for the running community. That means giving teams, coaches, race directors, and runners the tools to do more without leaving RaceMob.

Teams Get Real Tools

Running clubs and teams have been a major focus for RaceMob, and they have been asking for more tools to organize their teams.

We also made it dead simple to get started. If your running club is already listed on RaceMob, team leaders can claim ownership in minutes instead of creating a page from scratch.
Feature

Claim Your Team: Bring Your Running Club to RaceMob

We'll be adding running clubs directly to RaceMob. Team leaders can now claim their club and start managing it in minutes — no need to create from scratch.

Photo galleries are the big one. Upload your race photos, organize them into albums, and share them with your community. You can also embed a gallery widget on your club's existing website with a single line of code. Or embed one of our other widgets to help your members sign up, see your upcoming running event, or organize meetups for race day.
Feature

Team Photo Galleries and Embeddable Widgets

Teams can now upload, organize, and share race photos on their team page — and embed beautiful photo galleries on their own websites with just a paste of embed code.

For teams that want to go deeper, the new Team API v2 gives paid-tier teams full programmatic access. Feed your API key to ChatGPT and manage meetups and members by chatting with your assistant. Yes, really.
Feature

Team API v2: Build on Top of RaceMob

Paid-tier teams can now automate their workflow through a full REST API. Add the API to ChatGPT (or other LLM) and — create meetups, manage members, and integrate RaceMob by chatting with your assistant.

We've also built custom websites for teams. If you've had difficulty figuring out how to get a website built, hosted, and spent endless hours managing one, we've got a turnkey solution to get your website off the ground. One that looks professional, and is powered by all of RaceMob's tools - check out OurRunCrew.com.
Feature

Custom Websites for Coaches, Teams, and Races

Coaches, running clubs, and races can now get their own branded websites — like sabrina.strongerwith.com and toolegit.ourruncrew.com — powered by RaceMob, with zero technical setup.

Coaches Get a Home Base

We have been hearing the same thing from coaches for months: "I need a place to actually run my business." So we built it.

The new Coach Portal is a dedicated workspace where coaches can manage your profile, your tools, and your athletes. Set up your public page with your bio, certifications, packages, and social links - and athletes can find you!
Feature

Coach Portal: Your Coaching Business, All in One Place

Whether you coach one runner or a hundred, you now have a dedicated hub to manage your coaching business — from your public profile to your tools and settings.

We also overhauled the training plan editor based on what coaches told us was slowing them down. One-click workout copying, three different editor views, and cleaner PDF exports mean you spend less time in the editor and more time coaching.
Feature

Training Plan Editor: Copy Workouts and Better PDFs

Coaches can build training plans much faster with one-click workout copying and a unified editor that combines week, month, and spreadsheet views.

Race Directors: Get Discovered

If you organize races, two things matter more than almost anything else: getting found by runners, and having a professional online presence. We made progress on both.

We overhauled how search engines index RaceMob's 200,000+ race and location pages. We fixed a URL issue that was causing 208,000 pages to show as redirects in Google Search Console, then followed up with a broader cleanup so every race page has a clean, canonical URL. The result: your race is more likely to show up when runners search Google for events in your area.

Improved Search Engine Visibility for Race Discovery

Runners searching for races on Google will now find RaceMob pages more easily. This SEO overhaul fixes indexing issues affecting over 200,000 pages.

We also launched custom websites for race organizations on RunThisRace.com. Get a branded site for your race with registration, course info, and all the details runners need - no web developer required.

Runners Get Structured Training

This is one we have been building toward for a while. Runners can now enroll in coach-built training plans and follow along day by day with an interactive timeline. Personalized paces, daily workouts, progress tracking - the answer to "what should I run today?" is now always one click away.
Feature

Training Plans: Follow a Plan, Track Your Progress

You can now follow a structured training plan on RaceMob with personalized paces, daily workouts, and progress tracking — no more guessing what to run today.

Faster Race Search

Race searches by location are now 100x faster. Metro area queries that used to take 1.2 seconds now complete in 12 milliseconds. You might not notice it consciously, but every page load feels snappier.

Following Along

One more thing: we built the content system you are reading right now. Every time we ship something meaningful, we write a short note explaining what changed and why. These compiled updates give you the big picture. Everything lives at /product-updates and /blog so you can follow along as we build.
Feature

Product Updates & Blog: Stay in the Loop

You can now follow along as we build RaceMob. Product updates show what we shipped and why, compiled updates give you the big picture, and the blog shares the stories behind the product.

What's Next

Right now we are focused on finding our initial set of coaches, teams, races, and runners to build with. If you are a coach looking for a platform, a team leader who wants better tools for your club, a race director who wants more visibility, or a runner who wants to follow a training plan - we would love to work with you.

Reach out to us at [email protected]. We are building this for you, and the best way to shape it is to be part of it early.

Thanks for being part of RaceMob. Every piece of feedback shapes what we build next.
