Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby & Darke County presents their 17th Annual Duck Derby & Duck-N-Run 5K

June 15, 2023

*Walkers and Waddlers Welcome*

Address: 12 Tawawa Dr, Sidney, Geib Pavillion Tawawa Park

Time: 5K Race starts at 8:15pm, Duck Derby starts at 7:30pm in Mosquito Creek adjacent to Geib Pavilion.

Awards: Plaques will be awarded to the top three male runners overall and top three female runners overall. Medals will be awarded to the top three places of each age group, male and female, as racers finish. Refreshments at finish line for all runners/walkers. Restroom facilities are available within the park.

Male & Female Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,  40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

Registration Options: 

-Pre-register with 5K and T-shirt $20 (save $5 through 6/5/2023)

-Virtual race pre-register with T-shirt $20   

-Pre-register with 5K only $12 (save $3 through 6/15/2023)

-Pre-register for Wheelchair/Stroller Entrant Free

-Day of Registration for 5K is $15 and does not include a t-shirt

Must be registered by 6/5/2023 to guarantee a T-shirt

Save time and money by pre-registering! By pre-registering and adding a duck adoption, you are also entered into the Duck Derby. Many great prizes to win! T-shirts can be purchased day of event for $10 each (while supplies last). Additional Duck Adoptions are also available. In the event of Covid restrictions, the 5K race will again be virtual.

Pre Race Pick up available 6/15 from 8:00am-6:30pm

Day of Registration begins at 7:00pm at Geib Pavilion
