Tour De Pere:

Downtown De Pere is a host community of the largest competitive road cycling series in the U.S., Kwik Trip Tour of America’s Dairyland (ToAD). ToAD has become one of the most popular race series internationally, earning an outstanding reputation for participant and fan experiences. It runs for 11 consecutive days from June 19 – 29 in communities throughout southeast and northeast Wisconsin. 

The Tour De Pere presented by Green Bay ER & Hospital, is on day five and six of the tour, Sunday, June 22nd and Monday, June 23rd, and features a variety of activities, including the competitive races, block party presented by Nicolet Bank, kids' races, a fat tire race, and the 1K run. 

Tour De Pere 1K Run Details:

On Sunday, June 22nd join us during the community hour between the pro men and pro women races for a 1K run!  The 1K run is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for participants of all ages and fitness levels. 

Participate in the following events:

• Competitive 1K Run - Run in waves by age.  All genders run together.
• Kid & Family Friendly .5K & 1K Run - Inspire running in your little one and come participate with them and cheer them on as they cross the finish line!

Competitive 1K Run:

• Wave 1 - Ages 29 & under 
• Wave 2 - Ages 30 - 49
• Wave 3 - Ages 50 & older 
• Waves will be sent one right after the other with a little 
• Registration includes a giveaway items & post race beer/beverage
• Prizes from Run Away Shoes given to the Top 3 Male & Female in each wave.
• All registrants will be entered into a drawing to win a bike from Broken Spoke!

**There will be a clock at the finish line but this event is not formally timed.

Kid & Family Friendly .5K & 1K Run

• Choose the right distance for your child - .5K and 1K distance available
• Feel free to participate with your child in the run or spectate from the side
• Not a timed event
• Fun giveaway included
• Post Race snack waiting as they cross the finish line

In addition to the races, attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, a beer tent, and a block party atmosphere, making it a festive occasion for the whole community. The event is free to attend, and volunteers are welcome to help ensure its success.
