This is a series of 5K/10K + Kids K Run for Readers

The first event is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, 2025 

Start Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Location: Pace Bend Park 

Run with Purpose: Support Literacy in Central Texas

We're proud to partner with Education Connection — a nonprofit dedicated to helping Central Texas elementary students read on grade level by the end of 3rd grade.

100% of net proceeds from this race — after event expenses — go directly to Education Connection to support volunteer reading programs in public schools across our region.

Reading proficiency by 3rd grade is one of the strongest indicators of lifelong academic success. Education Connection trains and supports volunteers to read one-on-one with students in need — building confidence and setting them up for a brighter future.

Scenic Lakeside Course

Run or walk along Pace Bend Park's (Kate and Johnson's Cove), with views of Lake Travis, winding hills, and open skies. It's a peaceful, low-traffic course with natural beauty and gentle elevation changes.

• 5K: Beginner-friendly scenic loop
• 10K: Double the challenge, double the views
• Kids K: For children ages 3–10 (guardian may accompany)

Family-Friendly Fun

This race is designed for all ages and fitness levels. Parents are welcome to run or walk with their children during the Kids K. Leashed dogs are allowed on the course.
