Taking what is known and loved about our Freezy Cheeks 5k Winter Series and translating it to a summer series!

Take a trip out to Essex and join us at the second event in our Summer Series, hosted by Black Flannel Brewing Company in Essex Junction, VT. With a one hour open-start window from 10 am until 11 am, a weekend (Sunday) race, multiple distances (5k & 10k), and a beverage (beer if 21+, N/A option) from Black Flannel Brewing Company included in the registration fee, this is the perfect way to sweat, stride, and sip your way through a summer Sunday.

Bib Pickup

Two options for bib pickup:

• At Skirack from noon until 6 pm on Friday, August 8, 2025; and
• At Black Flannel Brewing Company from 9:15 am until 10:59 am on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Series Sponsors

All registrants will receive select discounts at Skirack and our series winners (highest cumulative age graded ranking in F/M/NB divisions) will win tickets to the 2026 Vermont Brewers Festival courtesy of Vermont Brewers Association and a six pack of Sparkling ChugWater for extra sipping.

Series Perk

In addition to getting a discount if you register for both races in the series, all registrants for the series will get a surprise (and functional) giveaway item at the second race.
