Official WebsiteJoin the Girl Scouts as we Pitch In For the Parks! This hands-on service project is all about helping our local parks stay clean and beautiful. Girl Scouts will work together to pick up litter, making our community spaces safer and more enjoyable for everyone. Through these efforts, Girl Scouts show they care for the environment, practice teamwork, and make a positive difference in their neighborhoods. Clean up supplies will be provided. Click here to register and sign waiver It is free to participate. There are 4 locations listed: McKinley Park (2210 W. Pershing Rd. Chicago, IL 60609) West Ridge Park (5801 N. Western Ave. Chicago, IL 60659) Garfield Park (100 N. Central Park Ave. Chicago, IL 60624) Calumet Park (9801 S. Avenue G Chicago, IL 60617) This is not a drop off event. This is a community service project that can be done with a Troop or Family. Please add on your Service Kit that includes T-shirt, Patch, and snack pack for the location you would like to participate at. Patch is included for registered youth participants.
