Description
The annual Boyle Heights 5K Run/Walk & Munchkin Fun Run takes place in the historic Mariachi Plaza and along the 6th Street Bridge. It starts & ends at Mariachi Plaza. The street will be lined up with Classic Muscle Cars along 1st Street. There majority of the course is flat and you get the best view crossing over the iconic 6th Street Bridge! The event also includes a Munchkin Fun Run with over 250 kids taking over the streets before the 5K Run. There's also a Classic Car Show lining up at the start of the 5K Run and a health festival.
Event details and schedule
We highly encourage to take the Metro and exit at the Mariachi Plaza Station. There's lots of street parking. After the the race we encourage all runners and spectators to enjoy some great Mexican Food and drinks at local bars along1st Street. We will have limited on-site late registration on a first come basis.
