As our Recreation Department continues to grow with events, classes, and camps, we are incredibly grateful for the support and recognition we’ve received from the Scotts Valley community.

I’m reaching out about an exciting new event we’re launching this fall—the first annual Glenwood 5K Trail Run/Walk on October 11, 2025, at the Glenwood East Trails. As we finalize event logistics, we are seeking sponsors to help bring this event to life. We recognize your connection in the community to those who love to run and being active and am hope you could see the value in partnering with Scotts Valley Recreation to make this event a success

My vision for the Scotts Valley Recreation Division is to provide quality programs and events where all ages experience outstanding customer service, a sense of community, learning and fun.

The Glenwood 5k trail run/walk will be an exciting morning to run or walk through our beautiful trails—connecting our community, enjoy the outdoors, and having fun.

We’d love to discuss how we can collaborate to make a meaningful event for our community. One idea we were discussing was offering a variety of fruits & snacks for participants after the race.
