Description

Join Parker Recreation as an official host of the MURPH Challenge fitness event, created by Navy SEAL Michael P. Murphy, and completed annually in honor of fallen comrades. Gear up for 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another 1 mile run. A modified version of the workout will also be provided for varying skill levels. Times will be entered on the official MURPH international leaderboard. It's a physical and mental test, and an incredible way to pay tribute to those who served.


Registered participants will complete the workout, have their completion time recorded and results entered onto the international leaderboard for the 2024 MURPH Memorial Day workout.

Official MURPH Workout:
  • Start with 1 mile run
  • 100 Pullups
  • 200 Pushups
  • 300 Squats
  • End with 1 mile run
Scaled MURPH Workout (Partner Optional):
  • Start with .5 mile run
  • 50 TRX Rows
  • 100 Pushups
  • 150 Squats
  • End with .5 mile run
Optional: Bring your own weighted vest.

Equipment Needs: Please be sure to bring a water bottle if you choose. If desired, you may also bring a weighted vest to compete in.
