Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month — every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Start location: Governor’s Square Mall (1500 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32301)*

*Find us in the mall parking lot area closest to Blair Stone Road!

Registration Begins: 9:30 AM

Walk Start: 10:30 AM

Details: 

Join us for the FINAL miles of our 1,500-mile journey as we walk to the steps of the Historic Florida Capitol. An UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back to the starting location. 

*We call this the FINAL MILE, but technically, it's closer to three.
