Introducing the Worcester Cinco K!

It’s no secret that Cinco de Mayo is one of the most fun holidays on the calendar – come celebrate it with us at the Inaugural Worcester Cinco (5)K! This festive run/walk will bring the party to the streets of Downtown Worcester on Sunday, May 4th, 2025.

And don’t forget the Kids! The Worcester Cinco K event will also include a Kids race open to children 10 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their children.

After the race, it’s time to PARTY! Join us for great drinks, raffle prizes, and more! Location to be announced.

As a trusted community resource hub, we provide essential services to over 5,000 people every month, offering food, clothing, disaster relief, senior programs, youth and mentoring programs, summer meal programs, vaccines, job opportunities, SNAP assistance, and other vital community resources.

About Planting the Seed Foundation 

Planting the Seed Foundation have been helping and improving the lives of families in Worcester and Central Massachusetts need since 1972. With the help of the Worcester Fire Police, and EMS departments, MA State Troopers, Worcester Fitness, and countless other organizations and individuals, the toy drive has helped families from all around Worcester share in the holiday spirit. Planting the Seed Foundation became a 501(c)3 charitable organization in 2007.

UPGRADE TO THE GREENDALE PHYSICAL THERAPY WORCESTER TRIPLE CROWN

Looking for an extra challenge? Join us for the Inaugural Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, a 3-Race 5K series that celebrates some of the most fun holidays of the year, including the Worcester Jingle 5K on December 1st, 2024, the Guinness Celtic 5K on March 16th, 2025, and concluding with the Worcester Cinco (5)K on Sunday, May 4th!

Participants in the full Triple Crown will score a commemorative pint glass at EACH of the three races, as well as a Finisher’s Medal at the finish line of the Worcester Cinco K.

To register for the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, simply select the 3-Race bundle on any of the race registration sites!

Approximately 1/2 mile for ages 12 and under.
Parents may run with their children.

5K Run/Walk
3.1 Miles. As always, walkers are welcome.
Please Note: No pets allowed and strolled must start in the back for safety reasons.

Ages 10 and under. Distance approximately 50m for ages 1-5 and 1/2 mile for ages 6-10. Parents may run with their children.
