Join us for the annual Memorial 5k Walk & Run in loving memory of Orlando Josiah Vargas. This event honors the life of our cherished son, who tragically passed away just before his 6th birthday. Orlando’s passion for sports and his joy in playing with friends continue to inspire us which is why we host this community 5k walk/run each year, including a fun run for kids. In his honor, we are raising funds to create a scholarship in Orlando Josiah’s name, benefiting a deserving graduate of the Horseheads School District. We invite you to come together with us to remember, celebrate, and support this special cause.

Race Day Registration / Packet Pickup: 7:30am race day

Early Packet Pickup: Wednesday June 25th 5pm-7pm at Thorne Street Park

Race Start: 8:30am - 5k  /// 9:45am - Kid's Fun Run

Awards: $100 to 1st place overall Male and Female winners (20 and older)
$50 to 1st place overall Youth Male and Female winners (19 and younger) 
Medals awarded to the top 200 finishers.
