Description

Rotary Club of Fillmore, The Rotary Club of Fillmore Community Foundation and FHS Cross-Country Team (Harrier's Club) are proud sponsors of the 5k/10k Run and Fitness Walk. All registered participants before May 10 receive a t-shirt. Registrations after May 10 are not guaranteed a shirt.

Race Times:

Fun Run: 7:30 a.m.

5k/10k: 8:00 a.m.

Medals

Top 3 finishers in each male and female age division: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Top male and female finisher in the 5k and 10k will receive a gift certificate for running swag.

Raffle

At the conclusion of the race, there will be food and various items raffled. Each runner will be given a raffle ticket, with the opportunity to purchase more raffle tickets on race day. Past raffle items have included, various gift baskets, food certificates, and roses.

Course Descriptions

Fun Run: 1k starting at the 5k/10k line and looping around the City of Fillmore fire station through the bike paths.

10k: Start at the City of Fillmore City Fire Station and travel North into the back roads where you will enjoy a nice climb up into the avocado ranches, circle back and down the hill to run until you enter the Fillmore bike path that runs along the Sespe River, then travel along the bike path, and finish back at the fire station.

5k: Start at the City of Fillmore City Fire Station and run through North Fillmore until you enter the Fillmore bike path that runs along the Santa Clarita. You will then travel along the bike path that runs along the Sespe River, then travel along the bike path, and finish back at the fire station.

Guidelines: 1. Participate in the Rotary Club of Fillmore 5/10K Run/Walk.  2. Minimum Team- 5 Members   3. Discounted Registration Fee of $30.00 through May 3rd.
