Description

Liberty High School Track & Field is bringing back the Run from the Lion's Den 5k on December 2, 2023 at 9 am! This is a trail 5k where you can run (or walk) LHS's cross country country course on the school grounds.

The proceeds from the race are used to support Liberty HS Track & Field program, and the equipment needed, as we continue to fulfill the mission of supporting high school athletes. This race will not only be helping Liberty's Track & Field but will also be supporting Carroll County Food Sunday by facilitating the race-day collection of non-perishable food items for our neighbors in need.

Pre-register!!!  The race premium (neck gaiter) is only guaranteed to the first 100 to sign up!

NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!!!!!!

Event details and schedule

Race start time is 9:00am. Packet pick-up starts at 8:00am. 

All pre and post-race activities will take place inside Liberty High School in the lobby by the gym. Refreshments will be provided to all 5k participants. 

The last day to register on Active.com is November 28.

Pre-race packet pick-up: Thursday, Nov. 30 (4-7pm) at Tri Sport Junction, 7568 Main Street, Sykesville, MD 21784.

All registrations are final - no refunds due to weather or non-participation.

The event is being timed by Eldersburg Rogue Runners.
