Description

This is the 18th Anniversary of Pedaling the Prairie Bike ride that will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024.  The ride begins at the Waller County Fairgrounds (22000 Fairground Road in Hempstead). This non-competitive race cruises past the rice fields and prairie between Bellville and Katy, Texas. Enjoy the scenic prairie, rolling meadows, rural flatlands and hills close to Bellville, Monaville, and Pattison. There are several well-planned routes, from a 24-mile beginner course to a 68-mile endurance ride.

Breakpoints with refreshments, as well as mechanical and medical support, located every 10-15 miles.

Police escorts at major intersections. SAG vehicles and Ride Marshall support.

 Race Day Packet Pick-Up starts at 7:00 a.m. at the fairgrounds.  Carpool if possible to the fairgrounds as parking is congested.
