Description

This will be the very first running of the Goshen Youth Wrestling Club 5k.  It is an exciting time for our club as we are now in the development phase of our new privately owned wrestling facility.  This race will not only serve as a major fundraiser for our club but will also become our primary community outreach event.  There will be plenty of ways to participate in this event outside of the main 5k race.  The days' events will also include a 1-mile fun run as well as 100-yard dash for the young runners out there.  We will also have several vendors present throughout the morning.  The race will kick off with opening ceremonies in the Goshen High School outdoor sports stadium.  Our 5k run/walk course will be a challenging course that will begin with an open downhill pacesetter, mix in a winding loop of CJ Hooker Middle School, and finish with an elevated climb back to the High School.
