COPE Health & Wellness 5K Run

Starts Sunday, October 01

Fredericksburg, VA

Official Website

Description

The Rappahannock Emergency Council's (REMS) non-profit COPE is hosting a 5K running event as part of a week-long Stafford Community Health and Life Saving Campaign from October 1-5, 2023.
The 5K running event is a great way to get involved in your community and to support a worthy cause. It is also a fun and healthy way to spend a Sunday morning. Whether you are a seasoned runner or a beginner, we encourage you to participate.

The life-saving campaign that we are supporting is aimed at educating and empowering everyone to act and provide life-saving care when you are the first on the scene during an emergency. We believe that everyone has the power to make a difference, and that starts with knowing what to do in an emergency. By participating in this event, you will help us build healthy communities for everyone.

In addition to the 5K run, there will be raffle prizes, family-friendly activities to include Zumba exercises with a DJ, a health tent with free health screenings, Food Truck and opportunities to learn basic life saving techniques. We hope you will join us for this important event!
