Walpole Italian-American Club, 109 Stone St., Walpole, Mass., the second Saturday in November. The USATF-certified (#MA15011RN) race was created in 2001 in honor of Camilio “Camy” Clerici and his grandson, David Clerici, Walpole I-A Society members who died nine months apart in 2000. Rosina Fun Run for kids named in honor of Camy’s widow and David’s grandmother, Rosina Clerici, who died in 2006. David 5K Walk top trophies named in honor of his late parents - Frank Clerici Sr. Award (1st male finisher), Carol Hunt-Clerici Award (1st female finisher). Held annually since its inception, including pre-vaccine pandemic 2020, as reportedly the only official in-person on-the-course road race run in Massachusetts!
Dedicated to original Greater Boston Track Club coach and USATF National Track & Field Hall of Fame coach Bill Squires - longtime supporter of our race - who died June 30, 2022.
