Description

The Tails and Trails 5K is an event that caters to every level of runner, walker, and dog-walker. Whether you're a serious runner hoping for a personal record, a recreational walker enjoying the scenic trails, or a dog-lover who would like your furry friend to accompany you on this 5k walk, this event has something for everyone.  The post-race activities are filled with food, music and awards for the overall winners and age group winners, including awards for the first female and male dog/human finishers.  Come join us in beautiful Cody, Wyoming for this great event! 

5K Event Details:
Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025
Time: Packet pick-up starts at 7:00 AM, race begins shortly after
Location: Cody Regional Health, 707 Sheridan Ave, Cody, WY 82414
Course: A combination of residential neighborhoods and beautiful trails overlooking the Shoshone River and surrounding mountains. Flat, fast, and perfect for runners and relaxing and scenic for walkers and dog-walkers.
Entry Fee: Includes a t-shirt and a bag full of goodies!
