Start your December with a run over the seldom-seen Freedom Tunnel. This event is fast becoming NYC's kick-off to the season of joy as runners from everywhere decend on NYC's quintessential Riverside Park to see what is left in their legs after a year of running. Wedged between the historical Upper West Side neighborhood and the Hudson River this venue is known for its gorgeous views of Manhattan’s waterfronts, lush greenery, and myriad walking and biking paths. Enjoy it all with a course that will leave you wanting to explore more of this 150-year-old park designed by America's renowned landscape architect Fredrick Law Olmsted.
Location: Riverside Park, 84th Street & Riverside Drive Entrance
The half distance consists of 4 loops, 10K - 2 loops, and 5K one loop. Every loop is timed and splits uploaded in real time!
Water Stations: There will be water stations about every 1.5 miles along the course. Besides water, there will be bananas and oranges and sports drinks and gels (brand to be announced soon).
