Description

Join us to honor Rockcastle County’s first responders at The Emergency Mile. If you are an experienced runner, this is your chance to test your speed on a nearly level one-mile course. If you’re new to run/walks, this is the perfect way to start – with a less challenging distance. Either way, you are honoring those in our county that we could not do without.

Kids age 4-12 run FREE (no shirt included).

Event Details

• Event begins 1 Mile Run/Walk at 6:00 p.m. EST
• Check in/packet pickup at 5:00 p.m.
• Registration fee $20, includes event t-shirt if registered by Monday, April 28.
• Free registration for Rockcastle County first responders! (Police, Sheriff, Jail Employees, Fire Department, and Ambulance Services)

Awards

• Overall male and female race winner
• Top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 12-under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+
• Top three fastest male and female walkers
• Special Award: Fastest first responder, male and female
