The City of Des Moines, Iowa will host the Greater Des Moines Women’s Half Marathon and 5K Road Race presented by Hy-Vee.  This Women’s Half Marathon and 5K, will be the “Ultimate Girl’s Running Weekend” for you and your girlfriends!  Continue you’re racing season from one of the greatest destination locations in the Midwest today, the Capital City of Des Moines, Iowa!  

Each Women’s Half Marathon produced by Premier Event Management across the country will offer Breast Feeding Tents for our new mothers at the start/finish area as well as on the half marathon course.  Also, if life changes and you are an expecting new mother, move your fitness event to the Maternity Mile and continue the fun on this special Women’s Day!
