Planet Beach Longview is hosting its 2nd Annual Veteran's Day 5k Run or Ruck and Fun Run.  Proceeds from the 5k are to benefit the TACP Foundation. Our goal is to donate $15,000 to the foundation through sponsorships, a virtual raffle and registration fees.

The TACP Foundation is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves the TACP community by memorializing the fallen, inspiring young TACPs and providing everlasting support for the families that have lost a TACP due to combat or training.

Registration is $40 and includes a race day T-shirt as well as a swag bag for the first 200 participants.  Don't want to run or ruck? No problem! All ages welcome and walking is encouraged. If you are physically unable to run or ruck, just sign up for the Fun Run!

Registration will begin at 7:30 am, Saturday November 11, located at VIEWpoint Community and Fitness Center.  We will walk/run/ruck along the Paul G. Boorman Trail.  Promptly following the race, we will have results from our online raffle and gift baskets for top female runner, top female rucker, top male runner and top male rucker.

This event is the perfect opportunity to surround yourself with those that honor our military and fallen. We can't wait to see you there!
