Description

The 9th Annual Kern County Sheriff's Office Employees Benefit Association Honor Run is an event that supports the children of fallen Kern County Sheriff's deputies.  

Proceeds from the run go to support scholarships for the fallen deputies' children and the Sheriff's Activity League (SAL) children.  

Medals will be given out to the top three finishers in each age category for the 5K and 10K runners.  

Medals for the Kids 1k will be given for top three finishers overall.

Event details and schedule

Race Day registration for 5K and 10K begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 8:00 a.m.  

5K and 10K runs will start at 8:30 a.m. 

Kids 1K race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m.

Kids 1K run will start at 8:00 a.m. 

Race Day registration for 5K and 10K runs will be $45.00

The race will begin at Section 2 of Hart Park with parking located around the park and near the site of the run.

This year, there will be a pre-registration packet pick-up that will occur on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sole 2 Soul Sports.  Sole 2 Soul Sports is located at 9000 Ming Avenue, Suite K (The Market Place).

Online registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023

Runners who want to bring their leashed dogs for the run are welcome to do so.  There will be water bowls at the turnaround points for your canine buddies!!!
