It's that time of year again. Old man Winter is about to give way to the warmer weather of Spring and that means that people will be spending more and more time outdoors. 

 As in years past, this Spring, I urge you to lace up those walking shoes and take to the pavement in support of Gastroparesis awareness. I am excited to announce that the 4th annual GP Warriors Walk will take place Saturday and Sunday April 1-2, 2023. This year's event will again benefit the amazing folks at G-Pact, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services to patients who suffer from digestive tract paralysis including Gastroparesis, Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-obstruction, and Colonic Inertia. They reach out to over 35 countries and all 50 states and focus on a variety of options and provide services and information completely free of charge. They are staffed completely by volunteers, so 100% of donations go to support their activities. 

As always, the registration for the event is free however there will be a way for those interested in donating to G-Pact to do so. Remember it is not mandatory to give, I understand that some may not be able to but just taking part in the walk is helping to get awareness for Gastroparesis out to our communities.

Registration will be open from 12 am Sunday February 19, 2023 and run until 11:59pm Friday March 31, 2023.
