Rose City Track Club is proud to present the 8th annual Rose City Mile! Our mission is to provide a fun and accessible opportunity for runners of all ages and abilities to test their fitness in the mile on Saturday, June 21, 2024.

New this year! We are offering a Middle School (ages 8–14) and High School (ages 14–18) sections, with sign up through Athletic.net. The registration fee for the Middle School and High School sections is $16.80 (incl. $1.80 transaction fee).

We believe that everyone has a place in the running community that is respectful, safe, and inclusive. On race day we present awards in men's, women's, and non-binary categories. Participants who select either "Non-Binary" or "Prefer Not to Say" during sign up will be eligible for the non-binary awards category.

The top three finishers in the following categories will receive recognition.

Online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Thursday, June 19th. Price increase to $33.00 (inc. $3.00 fee) on May 28.

Runners will have the option of registering for the Rose City Mile the day of the race for $38.50 (inc. $3.50 fee). Same day registration closes 50 minutes before the first heat in each section.

Heats

Check in closes 20 minutes before your assigned heat. Final heat assignments will be posted on Friday, June 20. Runners will be seeded based on the age, gender, and estimated finishing time provided upon registration. Heats in each category are progressively faster.
