RACE UPDATE - The Downtown Mile for CASA race course is reverting to the course that has been used for the past several years.  The course map is available on the race website.  

Heroes and villains get ready to race! This years family fun wave is changing to a "Superhero Run". The final update for this year will be an addition of a virtual RUN/WALK challenge. Virtual participants will be able to compete by logging the most miles between June 01, 2025 and September 5th, 2025.

Please join us and support Rappahannock Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. All proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock Area CASA, a local non-profit organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and have the opportunity to thrive. Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series: The Downtown Mile is the 8th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. All finishers will receive points toward the 12-race series.

Location: Corner of Charles Street and George Street., Downtown Fredericksburg

Race Waves: 

6:00 pm - Wave 1 Women ages 15 and up 

6:15 pm - Wave 2 Men ages 15 and up

6:30 pm - Wave 3 Youth ages 6-14

6:45 pm - Superhero Run This wave is open to all ages, families who wish to participate together, parents with strollers, walking participants, etc. 

Shirts are guaranteed for participants who register prior to August 20, 2025. 

Packet Pickup - Lucky Road Run Shop, Friday, September 5th from 4-6 pm. Race Day Packet Pickup begins at 4:30 pm. 

Race Day Registration and packet pickup will be held from 4:30 - 6 p.m. on Saturday. Register on your smartphone or tablet at the event. Shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by August 20th.
