We are inviting the public to Run With V.I.R.T.U.E., but with a unique twist, as the 2023 race will not be a physical one.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, V.I.R.T.U.E. Inc. has recruited notable artist, Jamie Bonfiglio, to curate a mural entitled “Women on the Journey”.
The showcase depicts women of all nationalities, households of faith, ages and stages of life who have been impacted by cancer. Throughout the month, the mural will travel to various stops starting with Ascension St. Vincent’s Birmingham – Bruno Cancer Center. Afterwards, the mural will hang in the City of Birmingham’s Exhibition Gallery where an additional display will be added to spotlight survivors.
