Description

Daytona 100 is a point-to-point road race along Florida S.R. A1A--the ocean road--from Jacksonville Beach* to Daytona Beach.  100-mile, 50-mile and 50-kilometer individual distances are offered as well as a 4-person 100-mile team relay race.  Daytona 100 finishes at the historic Ponce Inlet Lighthouse at the southernmost point of the barrier island.  The ocean views are quite spectacular and the route--and the weather--are conducive to fast PRs!  100-milers have 31 hours to complete the course; shorter distances have until noon on Sunday.  (*50 milers and 50 kilometer runners start in Flagler Beach.)
