Description

Join the Seashore Striders at our 2ND Paul Kares Rock 'N Roll 5k at Hudson Fields.  The race is the 2nd stop on the annual Seashore Strider Triple Crown Series.   For over 10 years the Seashore Striders have hosted a triple crown during Fathers Day weekend consisting of 3 races, 3 days- 3 locations.  Live music at the post-race along with 2 adult beverages for each participant over 21 yrs.  Have some fun and dress in your favorite Rock 'N Roll t-shirt or event better dress like your favorite Rock 'N Roller...We will present some fun awards for the top 3 Rock 'N Rollers at the awards ceremony.    

"All the proceeds from this event go towards our workshop series for children which we are launching this summer. The cooking and singer-songwriting workshops for kids are tuition FREE and debut in August. “

Run or Walk 5K (3.1 miles)

EVENT SCHEDULE:

7:00 – 7:45 AM Race day registration and packet pick-up

8:00 AM Start of 5K race

Awards ceremony following 5K

BENEFIT:      Paul Kares - A  501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and educating children who show interest and passion for the culinary & musical arts.  Paul Kares' mission is to support these young artists in the Delmarva Region by providing them with the confidence, training and tools to pursue careers in their chosen artistic field.

$30.00 5k PRE-REGISTRATION thru 6/13 @ 10 pm

$35.00 5k RACE DAY REGISTRATION from 7:00 - 7:45 AM

Amenities

Beach Towel Swag guaranteed to all registrations through Thursday, June 5th, water stop and refreshments provided, 2 beers for all participants over 21 years old, live music, costume contest, timing and finish line by Seashore Striders Race Production. Post race award ceremony at Hudson Fields.

Awards

Presented to the male/female 5K Overall and Master Champions as well as the top three finishers in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
