We hope to have you join us for a Race to Remember, a race to help those in our community affected by Alzheimer's Disease.  All participants will receive a t-shirt and a memorable 5K run/walk along some of Rome's most scenic pathways and bridges.  RUN IT!   WALK IT!   ENJOY IT!   Make plans to join us!

THEME & TEAMS!!

The theme again of this year's run is 'Heroes Run' and we encourage you to dress up as your favorite one and let's have some fun with this.  We'll have the MUSIC pumping...so prepare to have some FUN!

COURSE

This course is USATF-certified (GA21014WC) , and it travels along the beautiful Etowah and Oostanaula Rivers.  Starting and Finishing at the Courtyard Rome Riverwalk (a Marriott property), the race promises to be FLAT, FAST, and FUN!!

PROFESSIONAL TIMING

In addition to a certified course--which is a Peachtree RR Qualifier--the race will be professionally-timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC, using MyLaps' R.F.I.D. technology...the same technology used to time the Boston Marathon, London Marathon, and Tour de France.

T-SHIRT

Ah yes, the coveted prize of every participant...The T-SHIRT!  Designed by professional graphic designer Lamante S. Attaud--originally from New York--this comfort-soft T-Shirt will be the talk of the town.

Please Note: T-SHIRT SIZE IS GUARANTEED TO THOSE WHO PRE-REGISTER BEFORE Fri. JUNE 13, 11:00pm.  BEYOND THAT DATE, T-SHIRT SIZE CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

RACE-DAY REGISTRATION

Day-of-the-Race Registration will begin at 7:00am up until 20 min. before the race ($40 for 5K.....$30 for 1Mi. Walk). Day-of-Race Registration will take place in front entrance of the Courtyard Marriott Rome Riverwalk hotel (320 W. 3rd Street, Rome, GA 30161).  Please Note: Day-of-Race registrants may not be guaranteed a t-shirt.

PACKET PICK UP:   PRE-REGISTRAITON PACKET PICK UP:  Will be held Friday, June 20, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at “Salon Ten 17”, 5 John Davenport Dr., Rome, GA 30161.  If you are not able to make it Friday, you can also plan to pick up your packet Race Day morning beginning at 7:00 AM in front entrance of the Courtyard Marriott Rome Riverwalk hotel (320 W. 3rd Street, Rome, GA 30161). But please do try to make it by Friday to keep the lines short Saturday morning!

5K AWARDS:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd OVERALL (Male & Female)   

NOTE: TOP MALE and TOP FEMALE WILL EACH WIN A FREE NIGHT'S STAY AT THE COURTYARD ROME RIVERWALK  in ROME, GA  ($250 value).  Must be 21 or older.

Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Male & Female) will be awarded in the following Age Groups:

10&Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&Over

1 MILE AWARD:

NOTE: There will be one award given for the 1 Mile Health Walk/Run and it will be awarded to the fastest 6 & Under kid. All other are just in it for fun!!

RAFFLE DRAWINGS:

We have a prize of a one-night stay at the new Fairfield Inn. Other prizes to come.

WATER STATION and POST-RACE FOOD

There will be a water station provided along the course. Additionally, there will also be water and post-race snack items at the finish on the patio of the Marriott, as well as Sponsor Booths.

PARKING

Parking is available at 3rd Ave Parking Deck.
