The second annual Dash for Dane Family Day & 5K Trail Run event will be held at Powisset Farm in Dover, MA on Sunday, May 21st. Not running? There will be activities for all; 1K kids run, Crafts, Tie Dye, Face Painting, Live DJ, local pizza and drinks!

This event serves to honor Dane’s competitive spirit and passion for gathering his friends and family. It is also part of a larger fundraising effort for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Dane, who battled Crohn’s for most of his adult life, passed away on January 25, 2022, at age 39, following a courageous nine-month battle with stage 4 colorectal cancer. In his short time on Earth, Dane created a legacy of kindness, generosity, happiness, and light. 

We look forward to a gathering of friends, family and neighbors for a morning of good company, competition, local food and drinks and of course a moment of reflection in honor of Dane.

Don’t feel like running? Join us for the Party! Come and join us from 11am-2pm Race Day refreshments, music, and lawn games! Refreshments provided by Powisset Farm and local brewers will be available for purchase. Powisset Farm is a kid friendly venue for all ages!
