Description

Join us Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. for our third annual 5K and 1 mile run/walk.  Trail to Recovery, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to support the recovery community in Cleveland County.  Proceeds will benefit Cleveland County recovery court programs as well as other local organizations who provide substance abuse and mental health services.

5K registration includes:  a custom t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations prior to April 15, 2025), custom finisher medal, bib, timing chip.

1 mile fun run registration includes: a custom finisher medal, bib and timing chip, t-shirts available for purchase.

Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers as well as the top 3 finishers in each age division (5K only).

Course description: This is a trail run through a well maintained community park in Norman, OK.  It is mostly flat with a few slight hills and consists of grass, sidewalk and some gravel surfaces.  The course is smooth and safe for all runners/walkers and is often used for local high school cross country races.

Parking/Accommodations: Parking is available on the west side of the park off of 36th Ave near Franklin Road.  There is additional parking on the north side of the park on Franklin Road.  Restrooms are located near both parking lots.   Overflow parking will be at All Saints Catholic School which is just south of the park.

Packet pickup:  Early packet pick up will be Friday, May 9 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Stoic Fitness, 2751 36th Ave NW, Norman, OK.  Race day packet pick-up will be available until 8:15 am on Saturday.  We strongly encourage you to pick up packets on Friday, if possible to avoid any delays on Saturday!!
