The annual Boots and Brews 5K is a celebration of Freeport's rich history and vibrant future—a true gem on Maine’s coast!
Once home to over 30 shoe and boot factories, including the iconic L.L. Bean, Freeport’s shoemaking legacy is a proud part of its story. Today, Freeport thrives as a hub for craft beer enthusiasts.
The 5K starts and ends in downtown Freeport. After the race, stick around to sample brews from local favorites like Brickyard Hollow, Goodfire Brewing, Maine Beer Company, and Mast Landing Brewing. Plus, winners will take home a pair of iconic L.L. Bean Boots!

Missed online registration? You can still sign up in person during our packet pickup event on Friday, May 16th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the L.L. Bean Flagship Store or on race day at 23 Depot Street in Freeport
