The Race Route:
The Start/Finish Line will begin at Sparrow Springs Access. The 25, 50, and 100 milers will start out going on Crowders Trail and move right heading towards the Crowders Trail towards Rocktop Trail to the Right. Going up Rocktop Trail you turn right onto Tower Trail down to the Linwood Aid Station. From the Linwood Aid Station you will then get to head back up the Tower Trail towards the Rocktop trail then down that trail towards Crowders Trail. Finally reaching the Sparrow Springs Aid Station. From Sparrow Springs you will head back out head left towards the Pinnacle trail follow that all the way up to the Pinnacle summit. Then down from the Summit to the Ridgeline trail. Following out to the 161 Aid Station. After the 161 Aid Station you will then travel to the Boulders Access Aid Station. Coming out of the Boulders Access you will head back on the Ridgeline trail going to the 161 Aid Station. Then moving to the Pinnacle trail that will merge into the Turnback Trail. You will then take a left onto the Fern Trail. Finally reaching the Sparrow Springs aid station which will finish the loop of the race. To Equal 25 Miles.
The 13.1 Mile race route will take you on half of the entire course. You will start out at Sparrow Springs. Head Left to Pinnacle trail and begin your way up to Pinnacle Summit. Then turn back around and come back down Pinnacle trail. Finally turn Right to get on Ridgeline Trail. Follow Ridgeline Trail all the way to Boulders Access. You will then turn back and follow Ridgeline Trail back to Pinnacle trail taking a right you will start to make your way down to Turnback trail. Following Turnback trail you will then hit Fern Trail. And finally you will be back to Sparrow Springs to the Finish.
We will be running the entire trail system of Crowders Mountain. Both mountain peaks will be summit-ted. You get a nice beautiful view of the lake too. This race is more than a race, it is a celebration of one of the most iconic trail systems right here in the Charlotte area. To finish the 100 miler, has a 32 hour time limit. For the 50 mile it will be a 18 hour cut off. For the 25 miler it will have a 10 hour cut off. The buckle and medals will also be extremely special for anyone who is able to finish.
25 Miler - 5,000ish in Gain
50 Miler - 10,000ish in Gain
100 Miler - 20,000ish in Gain
For the 13 miler it will be 2,000 feet of gain.
We will have 4 aid stations on course:
Boulders Access - The 161 Aid Station - Sparrow Springs Access - Linwood Access

All aid stations will have basic food choices:
Pickles wrapped in Bacon, Cereal, Gummies, Salt Pretzels, Candy, Fruits
Hot Food during the race will include: Hot Bacon, Soup, Probably a surprise or two
Tailwind and Water
Soda - Mountain Dew, Coke, Ginger Ale
Gear / Pacers
Trekking Poles are completely ok to use. Just don't poke anyone eye out.
Pacers are fully allowed only for the 100 miler after 50 miles.
