March 19th 2022

100k & 50k

32 Miles Point to Point

The Palmetto Passage Ultra Series will be held within the Francis Marion & Sumter National Forest inside the Enoree Ranger District. This area is maintained and managed by the US Forest Service. About the forest: Officially designated in 1936, the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests encompass more than 629,000 acres throughout South Carolina. These lands are managed by the USDA Forest Service for multiple uses including watershed protection and improvement, timber and wood production, habitat for wildlife and fish species (including threatened and endangered ones), wilderness area management and recreation. The forests provide the American people with a diverse set of outdoor opportunities in four ranger districts in South Carolina (the Andrew Pickens, the Enoree, the Long Cane and the Francis Marion). Whether you enjoy hiking or riding trails, paddling, fishing, hunting, camping, birding or simply relaxing at one of our picnic areas, the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests have something special waiting for you!

Aid Stations

Aid Stations: 6 Aid Stations will be spread out along the 32 mile Out - Back - and Out course roughly 5 to 6 miles award. Basic aid stations supplies will be available at the start and finish line only. Water, tailwind, soda, crackers, cookies, broth, chips, and pickles. We gladly accept aid station donations of food items that you like to see at races. Our staff is very busy with course marking, timing, packet pickup, and communication with runners, that it does make it hard to prepare some amazing tasty treats in-between laps so feel free to contribute a little slice of heaven if you can! Thank you
