Running Is Back history: Running Is Back was the first race to take place in New Jersey during the 2020 pandemic. On November 7, 2020 we hosted the inaugural race at Liberty State Park where we saw over 300 grateful finisher's take part. Winning Events Group decided it was time to stop living in fear. Instead we made a conscious effort to promote the importance of fitness and community.

Winning Events Group is excited to continue this annual race on a USATF certified 10K + 5K course on beautiful Liberty State Park. All 10K finishers will get a custom finisher's medal (many participants reported achieving a personal record) on this fast and flat course. All runners will be chip timed, receive professional photos, age group awards, a well marked course, food at the finish, water stations, music, and much more.

Sign up for what promises to be another great run in one of New Jersey's premier state parks. Liberty State Park is visited by people from all over the world and local runners regard as an oasis. While there is a 2.5 hour limit to finish the 10K we welcome all levels of runners: first timers, elites, families, and masters.
