The Cypress Triathlon Annual Charity Event takes place on the scenic Towne Lake Boardwalk. What started as a 5k, has morphed into a pub crawl, but still helps raise awareness and money to support our charity of choice. For 2021, we are giving our proceeds to Fck Cancer.

This year the crawl starts at Sam’s Boat, has an intermission at Ambriza, and finishes at World of Beer. The event includes one drink (wine, beer, or soft drink) at each stop and post-race festivities at World of Beer. And for those of you who are competitive, join in the best dressed male and female contest for the chance to win fun prizes! This is CyTri’s top fundraiser and hasn’t sold out yet – but don’t risk it! There is a 63-participant limit, so register early to ensure a spot.

Raffle Tickets for race entries, doo dads and cool stuff are available $5 for 2, or $10 for 6. You can purchase your winning tickets at the event with cash the night of the event.

Event details and schedule

6:00pm- 6:15p- all participants meet by the giant Christmas tree in the Towne Lake courtyard for "packet pickup" which includes everything needed to join the fun. 

6:15p - a brisk walk to Sam's Boat (the reason for running shoes!) for our first taste and remain there for approx 25 minutes. We will continue to the next stop and stay for appproximately 25 minutes, ending at World of Beer. 

Plan to wear either the customary red dress and running shoes (because we like to pretend it is still a 5k run), or orange (Leukemia) or teal (cervical/ovaraian). Seanis the one exception to wearing running shoes.
