Welcome to the Easter Weekend FLIP FLOP  Run 2022!! We are excited to see you in Tampa Bay Easter weekend Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Whiskey Joe's Tampa benefiting the Tampa Bay teen groups from Finishlines For Scholarships 501c3. Both the 5K and the 10K begin at 8:30 by Fit2Time.  

 

Each registrant will receive an email the day prior to the race with arrival and parking instructions.

Your registration includes a technical T-shirt, your bib number in an electronically timed 5K, a free beer from Bud Light NEXT, your awesome finishers medal, and the post race free nacho bar party with great music on the beach at the tiki hut of whiskey Joe's beginning at 9:30 a.m. open to all friends and family. 

The  Kids - runs will begin at 8:15 a.m. just prior to the 5K and 10K at 8:30 a.m.. We will call all children and appearance out to the trail and we will begin children by their size in a short distance Sprint Sprint run that is fun for everyone to watch and enjoy. Each child will receive the Easter finishers metal but but this category does not include the event T-shirt. We often offer additional T-shirt purchases for $10 which is a donation that goes directly to our teen volunteers who are working toward competitions and summer camps. Everything will be outlined to you in the press email that goes out Friday of Easter weekend. 

 

All runs take place on the entirely paved Courtney Campbell Trail out west and back with water on both sides. Run with your phone for some of the most beautiful Easter weekend sunrise photos on the globe.

 

Because the venue is so close to both Rocky Point and Clearwater Beach we encourage you to search your preferences for the best hotel stay that suits you and your family. Your finisher's medal is themed either flip flops or Whiskey so we can't wait to see what each of you choose this 2022 Easter weekend.

 

The run is being hosted by Xanadu Race Management and benefits the 501c3 "Finish Lines For Scholarships" so be sure to both thank and congratulate a teen along the course. Awards are presented to top finisher's and seniors and youth.  We do not do age group awards in a direct attempt to draw a less competitive group of runners and walkers but all ages and levels of ability are WELCOME! The course is family and stroller friendly
