We're back in 2025!  And we just don't mean back on, we're back to Moraine View State Park!

ABOUT THE DAM SITE RUN...  The Dam Site Run was created in 2020.  It started as simply a rare opportunity to race that year when nearly every other race was cancelled.  Turns out, the date meant perfect fall colors as the leaves started to fall in Central Illinois, creating the perfect backdrop for a fall race.

THE TRADITION CONTINUES IN 2025....  The feedback was overwhelming after the 2024 race.  And we listened.  A year after road construction forced as to switch venues, we return to Dawson Lake within beautiful Moraine View State Park.  You can expect the another high quality race with many of the same features you've come to know and love... Certified course... Post race food... Chip timed, with split times... Awards...Finisher medal... Awesome swag after you finish.  And beautiful fall colors.  Our goal is to give you your money's worth.

NO SINGLE USE PLASTICS ...  We are challenging ourselves to put on an event with no single use plastics.  No plastic water bottles, not even bottles of sports drinks.  If we can put on an event and leave a more positive impact on our environment, we should, right?
