Join us for our 42nd annual K9 Fun Run + Walk! In addition to raising essential funds to support our lifesaving work, it’s an opportunity for animal lovers to join together to make a lifesaving difference for pets and wildlife in need. Packet Pick-Up Options

1. In-Person: We will be hosting a Packet Pick-Up Party May 11th @Holler Brewing. More Details will be sent closer to the pick-up date.

2. Mail: We also can have the packet mailed to your preferred address.

*Registrations that occur 2 weeks prior to the Fun Run+Walk will only be able to pick up their runner packet(s) the day of the event at the Registration Desk. Same goes for those unable to attend the Packet Pick-Up Party.*

Alumni Parade

Houston Humane Society Alum, here is your chance to showcase your transformation! One of the greatest reminders of each donation's impact is the heartwarming updates to see how our HHS pets are doing months or years after adoption. Sign up for this year's parade here.

K9 Fun Run + Walk race participants receive automatic entry into the Alumni parade if they have the adopted dog with them.

All Parade participants who pay the $5 entry fee receive a FREE Alumni Swag Bag. 

If K9 Fun Run + Walk race participants would like to purchase an Alumni Swag Bag, a $5 entry fee must be paid.

Costume Contest

Does your dog have the cutest costume? Enter your dog into the costume contest for your chance to support homeless animals and win special treats and prizes for you and your pet! Sign up for this year's costume contest here.

Pet Memorial Signs

Memorialize your beloved pet during the K9 Fun Run + Walk by purchasing a sign.  Signs will be displayed along a designated section of the course at Mason Park.  Signs will be 24"x18" printed on corrugated plastic and will feature the name and picture of your pet.  After the walk you may take your sign home!  Please send the name and picture of your pet to Amanda Rinehart via email ([email protected]), with the subject line : MEMORIAL SIGN + "PETS NAME"
