Parking is located at numerous locations around downtown. The most affordable parking garage is the city garage located at 150 SE 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

Ladies and Gentleman!   We are proud to announce the inception of the Fort Lauderdale 5000 Bull Run Presented by Merrill Lynch. We are even more proud to announce that we are the first running event in Broward County that has been permitted since we have entered the Pandemic. Help us make history and show South Florida it is safe to take the streets and race as we once did. We will have some new procedures and policies in place and going forward, however we can still have a great time and compete while social distancing.

What is the Fort Lauderdale 5000? 

A 5K is made up of 5000 meters, 3.1 miles, 16368 feet, or 196416 inches. However you want to measure it, you are still running the same distance. The only difference is some people will run that distance faster than you. On November 20th, lets see where you rank among those completing the Fort Lauderdale 5000!

 

All age group awards will be scored off net time and the elites will be scored off one gun start time at 7:30am. 

Do not arrive after 7:30am at the start line or you will not be allowed to start!
