Freaky Friday 8K Run

Description

The 11th annual Freaky Friday 8K Run takes place on a scenic yet scary course during the darkness of the Friday before Halloween "Freaky Friday". The event also includes a post-race event complete with food and drinks at Dreamland Barbecue.  A costume contest prior to the start of the run will take place at 7:30 PM.  Local radio stations and craft beer will also be on hand for registered runners. 

Event details and schedule

The Freaky Friday 8K run begins at 8:00 p.m. at Dreamland BBQ under the bridge in Northport. Parking is available at the restaurant and surrounding area.  Please arrive early for check in.

On-line registration deadline is at noon on Thursday, October 28th.  A free tshirt is included for those who register up to October 11th.  Additional tshirts are available for purchase with registration.  Costume Contest will be at 7:30 PM in the covered patio of the restaurant and will be judged by employees with Dreamland.  1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded. 

Packet pick up will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28th at Wagner's Run Walk, 420 Queen City Avenue, Tuscaloosa AL. 35401
