2021 Spooky Sprint - One Mile Race will be held on Saturday, October 23rd at 2:55 p.m. Pre-register by October 17 and pay only $12.
Course:
Begins on Main Street in front of the Library, runs East on Main St, left onto Longwell, right onto Winters Alley (just before the Armory), runs alongside of the park, left at the park perimeter onto 16th St and left again onto Willis St, immediate right onto North St, left onto Key St (running beside East Middle School, left onto Locust St., left onto Distillery Dr, which becomes Paide Way and ends inside the City Park.
Registration fee includes medals and prizes for top runners, prizes for best costumes, a commemorative t-shirt and post race refreshments.
Race Packet Pickup: Westminster Family Fitness Center, 11 Longwell Avenue, Westminster, MD. Thursday, October 21st 8am-8pm; Friday, October 22nd 8am-8pm and Saturday, October 23rd 8am-Noon. No registrations after Noon.
Costumes are encouraged but must be able to safely see, walk and run safely. Prizes will be awarded for cutest, most original and best group costumes.
Plan to arrive early at Locust Lane and Main Street (in front of the Library) on race day as certain roads will be closed. Parking is free at all area lots and garages on Saturdays. Post-run awards and refreshments will be held in the Family Center gymnasium next to the Finish Line.
Course begins on Main Street in front of the Library and ends at the entrance to the City Park on Paide Way.
