Shuffle up and Run! Join us as the BEE Daring Foundation teams up with the Arizona Coyotes for our 1st annual, Desert Valley Poker Classic 5k Walk/Run, in Memory of Mike DiMuria, our CEO's uncle whom she tragically lost in 2017. So grab your running shoes and let's have some fun as we change the conversation about mental health. 

Whether you’re a first time runner, or someone who loves to compete, this race is for you! Join us as we bring awareness to this much needed topic. Did you know, according to the World Health Organization One in four people in the world will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives. Around 450 million people currently suffer from such conditions, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and disability worldwide.

“In person DVPC 5K Walk/Run - Join us on Saturday, December 18, 2021, for a 5k course that starts and ends in Glendale, AZ. We will be hosting the 5k walk/run, followed by an afterparty and future access to a select Coyotes home game in the 2021-22 regular season!”

Safety is our #1 priority. We will be respecting all COVID-19 safety guidelines as outline by the CDC and our local department of health at the time of the race.

Let's join forces and change the perception about mental health, all while having a little fun before the holiday season. From meeting new people, to watching our very own CEO dance for the first time live in public with her esteemed partner, JT Pells. Creating lasting memories within our community. Bringing joy to someone who might be struggling by providing a toy for our toy drive, or even just writing a simple note to someone reminding them they are not alone. A day filled with fun, entertainment and more. Together we can make a difference.
