Description

The Children's Foundation of Palm Beach County will host the first annual "Walk the Walk" on Saturday December 11, 2021, as part of the Palm Beaches Marathon weekend.  The walk will take place along the beautiful West Palm Beach Waterfront near Meyers Amphitheater and will raise funds for over 30 local children's charities.  The festive atmosphere will feature activities for the entire family with food, games, children's activities, and much more.

The Children's Foundation of Palm Beach County was initiated in 2010 as a not for profit 501(c)3 charitable organization, whose mission is to identify and fund projects in Palm Beach County, to aid at-risk children and their families in need.  The foundation came about as a desire by the thousands of members at Boca West Country Club to give back in some way to the community.  An independent board was established, separate from the country club.  Since it inception, the Foundation has raised more than$13.1 million dollars to fund specific programs of 36 local charitable organizations.  All of these monies have gone to projects and not into general funds.  The Foundation has fed, clothed, provided medical and dental services, kept abuse shelters open, sent at-risk children to summer camp and much more.  Each year, the Children's Foundation of Palm Beach County serves more than 9,000 children and it volunteers give 45,000 hours of their time each year to the 36 charities with which the Foundation supports.

We are excited to partner with the Palm Beaches Marathon for an amazing weekend of running, walking, and festivities.  Join us on December 11, 2021 and be a part of something very special.  We offer two options to show your support as a participant.  Option 1: Walk the Walk VIP, $100 entry includes special custom walk bib with your name, access to the Walk the Walk VIP lounge with food service, beautiful walk medal, performance tech event shirt, food & drinks, and VIP parking pass.  Option 2:  Walk the Walk participant, $50 entry includes walk bib, walk finisher medal, performance tech event shirt, and food and drinks.  Registration is available by clicking the blue "Click to Register" button below.
