Join us on Saturday, December 4, 2021 for the  Kringle Jingle 10K, 5K and Kids K. This event is a must on your holiday to do list. The Kringle Jingle is set in the beautiful Albuquerque Country Club Neighborhood with the start and finish located at Washington Middle School.  Age Group and Overall Awards including Best Costume Prizes. Be one of hundreds to toe the line at the start. Don't forget the rest of the family, friends and office mates. Give yourself the gift of health.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT ENTER SCHOOL BUILDING. AYBL WILL BE ON SITE WITH THERE FALL BASKETBALL LEAGUE AND BUIDLING USAGE IS ONLY PERMITTED FOR AYBL. WE HAVE ACCESS TO TRACK AND FIELD AREA OF THE SCHOOL. RESTROOMS WILL BE LOCATED NEAR START/FINISH. PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME TO PARK IN ORDER TO ARRIVE ON TIME. DO NOT PARK ON COURSE AND/OR WHERE TRAFFIC CONES ARE PRESENT. PLEASE FOLLOW ALL CITY TRAFFIC MARKINGS SUCH AS FIRE LANES, HANDICAPPED PARKING, FIRE LANES, ETC.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS RACE-DAY REGISTRATION; HOWEVER, ALL PRE­REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PICK UP THEIR EVENT PACKETS AT “PACKET PICK-UP.”

If you are not able to pick up your packets in person, you must arrange for a representative to pick up your packet. Any out of town participants may pickup their packet on race morning at the registration area between 9:00-9:30 a.m. Race Day Registration will be located at Washington Middle School.

 

NOTE: ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE ENTERED IN THE RESULTS AND BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS MUST WEAR A TIMING CHIP/BIB. BIB MUST BE VISIBLE AND WORN ON THE FRONT OF PERSON.

PLEASE NOTE: HOBBLER GOBBLER REGISTRANTS PARTICIPATING IN THE KRINGLE JINGLE – PLEASE USE THE RACE BIB YOU WERE GIVEN AT PACKET PICKUP FOR THE HOBBLER GOBBLER. IF YOU WERE UNABLE TO PICKUP YOUR PACKET FOR THE HOBBLER GOBBLER YOU MAY PICK IT UP AT THE KRINGLE JINGLE PACKET PICKUP AS WELL AS RECEIVE YOUR HOBBLER GOBBLER T-SHIRT. T-SHIRTS FOR THE KRINGLE JINGLE WILL BE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVICE BASES.

 

Parking:

Parking is available at Washington Middle School and available parking on side streets. Please do not park on course.

Bathroom Facilities:

Bathrooms are located near start/finish. Please allow plenty of time to get to the start on time.

Start Information:

ALL events start and finish at Washington Middle School. All races will start promptly at the designated times listed above. Allow plenty of time to get to the Start to seed yourself according to your projected pace time. If you are driving to the race plan to arrive early. See parking information above.

This race is a Gun Start with a Timing Chip finish. The "official time" will start when the gun/horn goes off.

Race (Bib) Number Requirements:

Each participant will receive a Race (Bib) number that must be worn on race day. DO NOT alter your race number in any way. Your bib number must be visible and worn on the front outside of all clothing during the entire race so that it may be clearly seen. Bib numbers are non-transferable and MUST be worn by the runner to whom it is assigned.

 

Medical Support:

Medical staff members will be ready to assist you at any time. Radio communications personnel will be positioned at every aid/water station along the course.

The event officials have the right to withdraw any runner from the race that appears in distress or at risk. If you have a health or medical problem at the Finish Line, please notify event officials or volunteers. Please cooperate if you are asked to go for a checkup. If you feel that you need help at any point, please ask for it! Note: If you are unable to finish the race for any reason, please notify a race official of your bib number so that the medical personnel are aware. Please do not forget to turn in your timing chip.

Finish Information:

The overall and division award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on race day – immediately following each event.

If you are unable to stay for the announcement of the awards: age group and overall, you pay pickup your award at Fleet Feet Sports beginning Tuesday, December 7, 2021. We are not able to mail out awards.

 

10K:

Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women determined by gun time.
Age group prizes will be given to the top three finishers in the following categories for men and women:   5 and Under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Award times will be determined by gun time.

 

5K:

Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women determined by gun time.
Age group prizes will be given to the top three finishers in the following categories for men and women:   5 and Under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Award times will be determined by gun time.

 

Kids K:

All registered participants (11 and under) are eligible to participate in the RunFit Kids K. The start of the RunFit Kids K will begin at 11:15. Start and Finish is located at Washington Middle School. All participants will receive a special recognition award at the finish. The race director will notify all runners as to where to meet prior to heading to the start. This is a non-timed event. T-shirts will be given to all youth entrants as well as finisher awards to all children who complete the Kringle Jingle Kids K. Parents may accompany children during the event.

Costume Contest:

The race director and RunFit staff will present awards to the best adult and kids costumes in the following categories: Most Christmas Spirit, and Best Themed Running Outfit. Be original and have FUN!
