AWESOME 80s 5K Run/Walk
and Virtual Option

Come join us for our radical Awesome 80s 5K race! It's a fun time of running/walking celebrating the glory that was the 80s! We will have raffle prizes, costume contest, live music, and bling!

Race Info:

• 5K race begins at 6:30pm
• Overall awards will be given
• Raffle prizes will be given in place of age group awards (doing something radical)
• This is not a certified course but has been measured close to 5K distance
• Strollers, runners, and walkers are all WELCOME!
• No dogs allowed on race course
• No water stop on course!
• Virtual option only available until May 21

Race Swag:

• Participant Shirt
• Finisher Medal (made in the USA)
• Race Bib

Registration:

• Registration is only available online
• Registration closes Tuesday, June 6 at 6:00pm
• Virtual option only available until May 21

Packet Pickup:

• Tuesday, June 6 from 3:30-6:15pm at Tidal Creek Brewhouse
• We will be accepting donations for Help4Kids. Click here for current needs.  

Parking:

• Free parking in the Farrow Parkway garage on Howard Avenue
• Free parking along side streets in Market Common

Restrooms:

• Portos available outside Tidal Creek
• Inside Tidal Creek

Costume Contest:

• Participants are encouraged to come dressed in 80s attire
• If you would like to be considered for prizes, please check in at the Lululemon table upon arrival prior to race start

Awards:

• Overall Male and Female 1,2,3 place; Masters Male and Female 1 place; GrandMasters Male and Female 1 place
• No Age Group awards
• All participants entered into a raffle drawing

Post-Race:

• Participant snacks will be available post race provided by Food Lion
• Live music in the Tidal Creek Beer Garden
• Results are live at https://runsignup.com/Race/Results/109746/ 
• Overall Awards begin at 7:30pm in the Beer Garden
• Raffle Prizes begin at 7:30pm in the Beer Garden (must be present to win)
