Walk and Watch Challenge Series
Magic is always everywhere. Challenge yourself to be in search of something extraordinary, even in the most ordinary of things! You, your family, and your masks are invited to join us this summer as we feature a completely FREE and definitely FUN bi-weekly challenge to get out and play in your parks! We hope these challenges provide you with an exciting and unique way to enjoy nature, fitness, and fun in our parks! Participation in FCPR’s “Walk and Watch Challenge” is voluntary, free of cost, and all activities can be done simply through physical movement and visual identification of items (no touch!). My voluntary participation in this program states that I understand that all CDC, State of Maryland, and Frederick County guidelines in regard to physical distancing will be followed and I will supervise all minors involved in this activity to allow other participating families to enjoy safely. Registration for each challenge is required. Email with full details will be sent out at 8am on the first day of the challenge.
Capture the Olympic Flag
The summer Olympics may have been postponed in Tokyo, but not in Frederick County! See how many Olympic flags you and your family can find while walking in our beautiful parks! Between the dates of August 3rd and August 19th, Olympic flags will be hidden in a select number of our parks for you and your family to search for while enjoying positive conversations and the great outdoors.Want to be in the running to win a prize?
