A track program designed to prepare runners of all skill levels and abilities. The program will be designed to help improve the fitness level of young athletes seeking to compete in XC and track, as well as other fall sports such as soccer, field hockey and more. Workouts will include a variety of training approaches from interval training, aerobic endurance runs, tempo runs and both dynamic and static stretching warm ups and cool downs prior and post exercise. A basic sampling of core strength exercise such as sit ups, pushups and lunges will be incorporated to aid in conditioning. Participants should bring a water bottle. Fee includes t-shirt. Coach: Brian Stewart. 5 weeks (No rain make-ups).
